Dariusz Baliczek is a Trading and Operations Associate at Waypoint Wealth Partners bringing 3 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Waypoint, he was an Investment Operations Specialist at Hall Capital Partners and a Trader at Brouwer and Janachowski, a registered investment advisor in Mill Valley. Dariusz is a dedicated member of our team who goes the extra mile to support his teammates and our clients.
Dariusz graduated from Lake Forest College with a B.A. in Finance and a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
What do you enjoy most about your role as a Trading and Operations Associate?
I love working through complex portfolio and client situations with the Wealth Management team. Each client has different goals and a different definition of financial success. This means both portfolios and solutions need to be unique to each client.
What qualities make you good at your job?
In my role, every situation I encounter is complex and can change at a moment’s notice. Having a high attention to detail is key and having the ability to slow down and take a second look is crucial to prevent errors and achieve the desired outcome. Working closely with the Wealth Managers and Associate Wealth Managers to give our clients that financial clarity is immensely rewarding.
What makes you proud to be a part of the Waypoint team?
As soon as I joined WWP, it was clear that everyone at our firm cares immensely about our clients. One would think that there is a team of 50 people behind the scenes, but really it is 9 people that love what they do and go the extra mile for our clients.
What do you love to do outside of work?
Originally being from Colorado, it was difficult to give up the outdoors so I spend a lot of my time at Lake Tahoe. In the winter, my friends and I are up there every weekend skiing Heavenly and in the summer months we spend our time at the beach or on the boat. I also play in two hockey leagues, one in San Francisco and the other in Oakland.
