Wealth Manager & Head of Investment Operations


  • Manage the firm’s trading operations
  • Research investment and wealth management topics
  • Serve on the firm’s Investment Committee
  • Support the Investment Committee process (meeting preparation, client communication, idea generation, research projects, etc.)
  • Prepare for client meetings and provide detailed follow up
  • Gather client information and create or update planning projections  
  • Perform various analysis and modeling (for example, education funding, stock options, insurance needs, etc.) and document and communicate recommendations
  • Assist clients with the implementation of recommendations, working with CPAs, attorneys, or other professionals as needed
  • Help develop tools and templates to assist with the efficient delivery of our service offering
  • Contribute to a professional and energetic working environment


  • 5+ years financial services industry experience and college degree
  • Ideal candidate will have their CFA and CFP or be enrolled in a CFA/CFP program
  • Good problem solving and technical skills and keen attention to detail
  • Personable, responsive, engaging, and a client first attitude
  • Mature, self-starter, willing to take complete ownership of areas of responsibility
  • Ability to work independently and take direction from multiple parties
  • Strong analytical skills and computer skills including advanced proficiency with Excel and Word
  • Experience with portfolio management software (e.g. iRebal, Tamarac Advisor Rebalancing) is highly desirable


  • Manage all client account and custodial operations including new account paperwork and set up, account transfers, cashiering, general account maintenance, daily deposits and withdrawals, custodian alerts and cost basis reconciliation
  • Serve as main point of contact for custodians, sub advisors, 529 vendors and charitable giving for all account opening, cashiering and client service needs
  • UUUDeliver exceptional client service and serve as liaison between advisors, Associate Wealth Managers (AWMs) and clients as needed
  • Maintain all data in portfolio accounting and reporting systems (Portfolio Center & Tamarac Advisor View) including new account set up, security classification, billing groups and client portal set up
  • Reconcile daily trades and file trade blotters
  • Serve as backup to Administrative Assistant/Office Manager as needed
  • Provide support on special projects as needed
