What type of clients do you typically work with?

My clients are senior level Bay Area professionals who are at a critical crossroads. They are in their prime earning and prime spending years, and they have some key life moments on the horizon: educating children, changing jobs, selling and buying homes, managing stock compensation, and planning for aging parents. The stakes are high, and they are seeking an advisor who can provide expert financial advice to help them confidently make well thought out decisions that lead to financial security. At this critical moment, we join in partnership on their financial journey together.

What qualities make you good at your job?

Deep professional knowledge and clear communication. From personal experience to continual education to years of professional experience, I have seen it all. I help my clients sort through their complex financial decisions with an eye toward growing their wealth while protecting the assets they have accumulated. From simple but important decisions like choosing between Roth vs traditional retirement accounts to managing highly appreciated stock and concentrated holdings to implementing smart education planning and tax efficient charitable giving, I strategize solutions that put my clients on a path toward financial independence. And importantly, I distill these complex issues into clear and easy to understand financial plans that give my clients confidence that they are positioned for financial wellbeing.

What do you enjoy most about your role as a Wealth Manager?

Building meaningful personal connections with my clients is the best part of my work.  Through these relationships I can understand their concerns as well as their hopes and dreams. And then we work in partnership to create the path to a successful financial life both today and into the future.

What do you love to do outside of work?

I love to spend time with my family and friends hiking in the beautiful hills of the Bay Area, travelling near and far, and experiencing the majesty of animals in their natural habitat. One of my favorite memories is trekking through the steep jungle mountains of Rwanda and Uganda to watch a family of rare silverback gorillas play in the wild.
