Leslie Tietz provides administrative support for the firm and serves as the first point of contact for clients when they call or visit the office. She’s a nurturer through and through and is always looking for ways to help the team and create the best environment for them to do their work. Prior to working at Waypoint, Leslie spent four years working with families as a full-time nanny and then eight years staffing nannies at a placement agency.
What do you love to do outside of work?
I love taking advantage of everything the Bay Area has to offer including hiking, attending shows and concerts, and trying new restaurants. I also love to experience new things through travel and make lasting memories with my husband and friends.
What makes you proud to be a part of the Waypoint team?
I see firsthand how much everybody cares about doing what is best for each individual client and the teamwork it takes to make it happen. It makes me proud to be a part of a team that is truly dedicated to helping people meet their financial goals.
What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am very proud that I forged my own path in life by moving to a new city away from family and friends and trusting myself enough to make it happen.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
My favorite piece of advice is so simple; “be good to other people and be kind to yourself”. Another piece of advice I try to incorporate in my everyday life is “never lose your sense of humor”.
